I checked out her repertoire, and it is impressive. I have that flagged to listen to many more times. Thank you for sharing that. I love his Franck CD. I thought I might have to spend the rest of my life searching for it.

John Current works in progress: I would still like to hear more intensity in the interpretation, such as the way Anna Moffa sings it. Although his own country, Italy, was indifferent towards him, he started to make vocaliss recordings in England, produced by William Barrington-Coupe of Joyce Hatto fame, under pseudonyms such as Paul Procopolis. With several competition successes under his belt he eventually embarked on a concert career.
It is amazing to think, with pianism of this calibre, that it was only at the end of Sergio Fiorentino’s life that international recognition came. I like sharing our favorites.
