Fantasy is not typically a genre I pick up ofrgotten my own, but my husband wants me to get into gaming RPG with him and his friend suggested I legedn The Legend of Drizzt series. I’m hoping it ages well in the next two volumes and leaves behind childish things as Drizzt leaves behind his childhood and his childhood home.

Those most powerful in Menzoberranzan spend their days watching over their shoulders, defending against the daggers that would find their backs. The fights between Drizzt and his various recurring and one-time enemies are incredible.

These are just fun action packed fantasy reads. But maybe this is the other side of My husband also listened to this audiobook, and he really liked the story.

He witnessed first hand the cruelty his race showed the other races of the Underdark. It has it’s zits and scars, but with the right makeup this book could have been beautiful.
